The Nomad Dancers were honored to be invited by First Lady Michelle Obama to perform at The White House celebration of Nowruz. They performed a dance in Azeri style, and an exciting fusion dance featuring the typical frame drums of Iran. In representing the ancient dance traditions of Iran, Nomad Dancers felt humbled by the enthusiastic applause of the assembled dignitaries and leaders within the Iranian-American community, and inspired to continue with their goal of crossing borders and bridging cultures, promoting world peace and coexistence among nations.
